We utilize multiple shipping agencies who compete for our business and thus offering you the best shipping rates. Shipping rates vary from time to time and from one shipper to the other. Because of this our shipping rates that we charge to our customers depend on the going rate. It is cheaper to ship by sea or ocean but it takes a longer period of time for delivery. It is recommended to ship heavier cargo by sea. Airfreight is faster and relatively more expensive as well. It is recommended for light weight items. Shipping rates are calculated based on volumetric weight and or actual weight. Volumetric weight  takes into  account the volume of an item. It is based on  the amount of actual space that item is occupying. It is also known as dimensional weight.

Use this formula to calculate volumetric weight in kilograms: (Length cm × Width cm × Height cm)÷ 6000 = Volumetric weight in Kg.

Use this formula to calculate volumetric weight in pounds: (Length inches × Width inches × Height inches )÷ 166 = Volumetric weight in pounds(lb)

Our rates are based on both actual weight or volumetric weight whichever is higher. Our average airfreight rate starts at $9/lb . Sea shipping starts at $35/lb.

Delivery

Once you have purchased and made a payment we ship your item or items to our agents in Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu. When they get your item they will call you and you sign that you received it.
